Introduction

10 September 2007

I want to introduce myself. My name is Kris Zyp, and I am going to be a new contributor for the JSON.com website. I am exciting for this opportunity and I am really hoping that JSON.com can become a valuable resource for developers community. I am planning on more consistently posting news about JSON, providing information about various JSON definitions, JSON tools, and code examples. I want to invite you to send me JSON related information, tips, and news. You can email me at KrisZyp at JSON.com. I am hoping this can really be a community driven site, that is useful and meaningful resource.

A little bit more about me… I am the founder of Xucia, which I started for high-end Ajax/RIA consulting and distributing the various software projects I have created. My projects that I have created include Authenteo (Ajax/Widget based WCMS), JavaScript Strands, Rhino Strands (coroutine and threading support for JavaScript), Resource Accelerate (J2EE filter for performance improvements). I have also designed a JSON extension called JSPON for interopability and interactivity with persistent data sources, and created an open API for JavaScript to interact with persistently mapped object called Persistent JavaScript. Right now, my main focus right is on developing Persevere and Jsponic which are JSPON implementations of persistent object mapping for JavaScript. Persevere is a client side persistence framework, and Jsponic is Java/Rhino server implementation. They should be released soon. And if you want to know a little more about me personally (and meet my new daughter) you can also visit our family’s web page (my wife maintains it usually). And I actually have one more project that I just released, so onto the next post…

    Kris,
Welcome to OpenDomain! I look forward to working with you to help make JSON a (geek) household term!
You have a great family web page - you created it using your Authenteo framework? Very nice.

    Ric,
Thanks once again for the opportunity! Yes, our family web page was built with the Authenteo framework, and my wife did pretty much all of it on her own. I think Authenteo has a distinction of being almost entirely based on JSON communication with the server. It loads a few bootstraps js files and then all server interaction is with JSON.
